Belle was walking down the street one moment, and the next she was. . . elsewhere. It was extremely disorienting. From a gray, cloudy day to piercing light hitting her eyes no matter where she looked.

After a moment it faded, but the sense of unreality persisted. She saw a man, but had not context for who he might be.

Then, quick as it started, the hallucination ended. She rubbed her face and looked around. Her eyes hadn't adjusted to the bright hallucination so she was clearly able to see a man close to her, looking like he'd been hit by a metaphorical truck. It couldn't be a coincidence, right?

Cautiously she moved closer to the man, pulling out her cell phone in case he was hurt. "Uh, 'scuse me?"
